I know, things are looking kind of bleak right now for the Republic and liberty, but we still have a chance of overturning or repealing this awful, freedom stealing piece of legislation.

Attorney Generals from 12 States are filing suit challenging the Constitutionality of the bill. Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison (R-TX) and Senator Jim DeMint (R-SC) are working together in an effort to get the bill repealed.

The most effective method though of turning back this Health Care “Reform” legislation and taking back our country lies with you and me, individual citizens. We have the power to vote out those who have subverted the Constitution and voted for the bill. Locally in the Greater Rochester area, Rep. Louise Slaughter (D-NY 28th) and Rep. Jim Maffei (D-NY 25th) both voted for the bill. We need to VOTE THEM OUT on November 2, 2010! We must make the best effort to mobilize the constituents in the NY 25th and NY 28th Congressional Districts to get out and campaign for the challengers of Slaughter’s and Maffei’s seats and defeat them!

Please come to the 2010 Tax Day Rochester Tea Party, not only to rally against the socialist power grab that’s occurring, but also to meet with other like minded patriots and start forming coalitions to defeat Slaughter and Maffei!
